The Review & Edit Delivery Request feature enables Logistic Managers to update incomplete or incorrectly submitted requests before approval. Since Generic Users might not always know delivery schedules or pickup/drop details, Logistic Managers are granted editing permissions to fill in the missing fields required for voyage allocation.
📌Note:
This feature will only be available if the Company Admin has selected the Enclosed Deliveries or Non-Enclosed Deliveries option during the Company Configuration Setup process.
Enclosed Deliveries is used for transporting packages in a secured, enclosed space (e.g., boxed shipments, fragile goods).
Pre-Defined Labels:
Weight, Width, Height, and Length (These must be filled when requesting a package delivery).
These values are required to optimize vehicle loading capacity.
Custom Labels:
The admin can define additional package-related labels (e.g., temperature control, fragile items)
These labels are optional but will be visible in both delivery requests and vehicle details.
Logistic Manager: Review, approve, and decline delivery requests. Edit incomplete requests before approval.
The Logistic Manager views a pending or previously reviewed request in the New Requests or Reviewed Requests tab.
If the Approve button is disabled, it’s likely due to:
Missing pickup or drop location
Missing start or end date/time
The manager clicks Edit to update the necessary fields.
Upon saving, the manager can now:
Approve the request
Decline the request
Or leave it pending for further review
Notifications are sent to the employee based on the actions taken.
A notification will be sent to the Transport Coordinator if the request was approved.
Please note that the following fields cannot be edited during the review process:
Employee ID
Department
First Name
Last Name
Receiver Information
📌Important Notes:
The Approve button is only enabled when all required voyage data is filled.
Always review and complete:
Pickup and Drop locations
Start and End Date/Time
Use the Reviewed Requests tab to correct mistaken approvals or declinations.
Employees are always kept informed through system notifications, ensuring transparency.
Receiver fields are disabled
Logistic Managers cannot edit receiver information once submitted
