The Vehicles page displays a list of all vehicles that have been added to the system in a tabular layout. Admins have the ability to manage Vehicles by adding new Vehicles or editing existing ones.
Admin: Can add, edit, or disable Vehicles.
An admin can navigate to View all Vehicles added under their Company by the sidebar icon highlighted on the image.
Upon hovering over the icon, a tool-tip will be displayed to the admin as Vehicles.
Transpomate does not have a separate driver entity within the system. Instead, it captures vehicle information, as vehicles remain constant while drivers may change frequently.
Voyages Are Assigned to Vehicles, Not Drivers:
Transport Coordinators schedule voyages for vehicles, ensuring operational consistency.
Drivers may rotate, but the assigned vehicle remains the same.
Mobile Phones Are Assigned to Vehicles:
Each vehicle has a dedicated mobile phone that will receive voyage notifications.
This mobile device will have the Transpomate mobile application installed to facilitate voyage management.
Driver App Login Using Single Sign-On:
Drivers do not have individual records but log into the app using Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO).
A Driver App Email is assigned to each vehicle, allowing drivers to log in and access voyage details.
Captured Vehicle Information Includes:
Assigned Mobile Number (Used for receiving notifications from Transpomate).
Driver App Email (Used for app login via SSO).
