The Subordinate Requests feature in Transpomate empowers supervisors to manage transport needs for their team members. Supervisors can submit, view, edit, and cancel Passenger requests on behalf of their subordinates, streamlining team management and ensuring all transport requirements are fulfilled.
📌Note:
This feature will only be available if the Company Admin has selected the Passenger Transport option during the Company Configuration Setup process.
Passenger Transport is designed exclusively for passenger transport requests. It allows users to request transport services for individuals without involving package deliveries.
Pre-Defined Labels:
"Number of Seats" (Automatically assigned, non-editable).
This helps coordinators match transport requests with available seating capacity in vehicles.
Custom Labels:
Users can define additional labels (e.g., passenger category, accessibility requirements).
These labels are optional but will be visible in both transport requests and vehicle details.
Supervisor: Create, view, and edit transport requests for subordinates. Cancel pending subordinate requests. Receive notifications for subordinate requests and voyages.
A supervisor can navigate to View all Subordinate Passenger Requests added by the sidebar icon highlighted on the image.
Upon hovering over the icon, a tooltip will be displayed to the user as Subordinate Passenger Requests.
In Transpomate, each delivery request includes a requested end date and time. If the request is not assigned to a voyage before that time, it will automatically expire. This helps ensure that only active and relevant requests are processed by the system.
A request will automatically expire if:
The requested end date and time has passed, and
The request is still in Pending or Approved status, and
The request has not been allocated to a voyage.
Once expired, the request will no longer be visible under active or open requests.
For Employees / Generic Users/ Supervisors:
You will receive an SMS notification informing you that your request has expired.
For Managers / Logistic Managers:
If you approved a request that later expires without being scheduled, you will receive a notification via SMS and/or email.
