The Edit Department feature in Transpomate allows admins to update department details while ensuring data integrity. Admins can modify the Department Name, Department ID, and also the status of a Department.
The Admin can navigate to this page by clicking on the Edit option from the View Departments table.
📌 A department can only be disabled if there are no employees assigned under that department or if all employees assigned under that department have been disabled.
Keep department names descriptive and standardized.
Ensure that department changes do not affect existing workflows.
Regularly review department details for accuracy.
