The Add Department feature in Transpomate allows admins to add and manage departments within the system. Each department must have a unique identifier and name to ensure accurate organization.
The Admin can navigate to this page by clicking on the Add option from the View Departments table.
📌 Both the Department ID and Department Name must be unique. If an ID or name already exists, the system will display an error message.
Use standardized naming conventions for department names.
Ensure Department IDs are structured consistently (e.g., HR001, FIN002).
Regularly review department entries to avoid duplication.
