How to Edit a Vehicle Owner

The Edit Vehicle Owner feature in Transpomate allows admins to update vehicle owner details while ensuring data integrity. Admins can modify the vehicle owner's basic information and also the status of the owner.

The Admin can navigate to this page by clicking on the Edit option from the View Vehicle Owners table.

1.1: Edit Vehicle Owner Form:

📌 Note:

A vehicle owner can only be disabled if there are no vehicles assigned under that owner or if all vehicles assigned under that owner have been disabled.
Additionally, if a vehicle assigned under that owner is allocated to a voyage or is having an ongoing voyage, the owner cannot be disabled

1.2: Best Practices:

The email should be a functional and frequently used address to ensure the vehicle owner receives system notifications.
Enter a valid mobile number to enable direct communication when needed.
Ensure the full address is provided for accurate record-keeping and communication.
Ensure personal data is entered securely and follows company data protection policies.
