The Passenger Requests Page provides a comprehensive list of all Passenger Requests along with their detailed information. This page allows admins to view, manage, and update the passenger details. Users can add new Passenger Requests to the system and edit existing passenger information as needed.
This system ensures that employee transport needs are managed efficiently, particularly for shift-based workers. The process involves submitting a request through an approval flow before being allocated to a voyage.
📌Note:
This feature will only be available if the Company Admin has selected the Passenger Transport option during the Company Configuration Setup process.
Passenger Transport is designed exclusively for Passenger Transport Requests. It allows users to request transport services for individuals without involving package deliveries.
Pre-Defined Labels:
"Number of Seats" (Automatically assigned, non-editable).
This helps coordinators match Transport Requests with available seating capacity in vehicles.
Custom Labels:
Users can define additional labels (e.g., passenger category, accessibility requirements).
These labels are optional but will be visible in both Transport Requests and Vehicle details.
Generic User: Can request and view their Passenger Requests.
A Generic User can navigate to View all Passenger Requests added by the sidebar icon highlighted on the image.
Upon hovering over the icon, a tooltip will be displayed to the user as Passenger Requests.
In Transpomate, each Passenger Request includes a requested end date and time. If the request is not assigned to a voyage before that time, it will automatically expire. This helps ensure that only active and relevant requests are processed by the system.
A Request will automatically expire if:
The Requested End Date and Time have passed, and
The Request is still in Pending or Approved status, and
The Request has not been allocated to a voyage.
Once expired, the Request will no longer be visible under active or open Requests.
For Employees / Generic Users:
You will receive an SMS notification informing you that your Request has expired.
For Managers / Logistics Managers:
If you approved a Request that later expires without being scheduled, you will receive a notification via SMS and/or email.
