The Delivery Request feature in Transpomate allows users to submit transport requests for delivering goods or packages within a corporate setting. This ensures proper handling of delivery requests with clear approval workflows, making it easier to manage logistics efficiently.
This system ensures that delivery transport needs are managed efficiently. The process involves submitting a request through an approval flow before being allocated to a voyage.

This feature will only be available if the Company Admin has selected the Enclosed Deliveries or Non-Enclosed Deliveries option during the Company Configuration Setup process.
Enclosed Deliveries is used for transporting packages in a secured, enclosed space (e.g., boxed shipments, fragile goods).
Pre-Defined Labels:
Weight, Width, Height, and Length (These must be filled when requesting a package delivery).
These values are required to optimize vehicle loading capacity.
Custom Labels:
The admin can define additional package-related labels (e.g., temperature control, fragile items)
These labels are optional but will be visible in both delivery requests and vehicle details.
Generic User: Can request and view their delivery requests.
A generic user can navigate to View all Delivery Requests added by the sidebar icon highlighted on the image.
Upon hovering over the icon, a tooltip will be displayed to the user as Delivery Requests.
In Transpomate, each delivery request includes a requested end date and time. If the request is not assigned to a voyage before that time, it will automatically expire. This helps ensure that only active and relevant requests are processed by the system.
A request will automatically expire if:
The requested end date and time has passed, and
The request is still in Pending or Approved status, and
The request has not been allocated to a voyage.
Once expired, the request will no longer be visible under active or open requests.
For Employees / Generic Users:
You will receive an SMS notification informing you that your request has expired.
For Managers / Logistic Managers:
If you approved a request that later expires without being scheduled, you will receive a notification via SMS and/or email.
