The Edit Vehicle feature in Transpomate allows admins to update vehicle details while ensuring data integrity. Admins can modify the vehicle's basic information and also the status of the vehicle.
The Admin can navigate to this page by clicking on the Edit option from the View Vehicles table.
📌 A Vehicle can only be disabled if the vehicle is not in an active voyage or if there are no voyages scheduled to that vehicle.
To improve GPS device utilization, Transpomate allows Admins to reassign GPS devices that are currently attached to disabled vehicles directly from the Add Vehicle or Edit Vehicle pages—without needing to manually detach them first.
Reassignment Flow:
The GPS Device dropdown will show:
Unassigned devices
Devices attached to disabled vehicles
When a device attached to a disabled vehicle is selected:
The system will prompt the Admin to confirm reassignment.
Upon confirmation, the device is automatically:
Detached from the disabled vehicle
Assigned to the new vehicle
Removed from the old vehicle’s record and “More Info” pop-up
Assign the correct vehicle owner from the list to avoid mismanagement.
Ensure the license plate number is accurate for easy identification and tracking.
If applicable, ensure labels (Passenger Transport, Enclosed Deliveries, Non-Enclosed Deliveries) are correctly assigned per company settings.
Ensure availability times are correctly entered, including:
Available Days (Select the correct days)
Time-From & Time-To (Set precise start and end times)
Cost per Km (Ensure it reflects actual operational costs)
